Glenn Micallef (born 30 July 1989) is the European Commissioner for Intergenerational Fairness, Youth, Culture and Sport, leading initiatives such as the “Culture Compass” and shaping a Europe-wide strategy on youth and cultural policy. A Maltese civil servant and economist, he previously served as Chief of Staff to Prime Minister Robert Abela from 2020 to 2024, where he advised on EU affairs and coordinated Malta’s Brexit preparations.
